2010 Scholarships

Our club will award four $1,000 scholarships this year. One scholarship will go to a student from each of Blue Mountain Union School, Oxbow High School, River Bend Career & Technical Center and Woodsville High School. Home schooled students within the enrollment areas of these schools are also eligible.

River Bend students not planning to attend college can apply for a grant for tools or education towards professional certification. We now have a separate form for applicants from River Bend. You can get applications from their guidance department or you can download applications here.

To be eligible, students must be high school seniors who will graduate this year, be in the top 1/3rd of their class and show a strong commitment to community service. Financial need is also taken into consideration.

Our Club will not be awarding the Charles King Memorial Scholarship this year.

Applications need to be returned to the club by May 17. Students can return applications through their guidance department, or they may mail them to: Woodsville - Wells River Rotary Club, c/o Ian Clark, PO Box 51, West Newbury, VT 05085.
