Ambassadorial Scholarship

Our Rotary District will award an Ambassadorial Scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year. This is a $25,000 grant towards studying abroad. The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarship is to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries. Scholars studying abroad serve as ambassadors of goodwill to the people of the host country and give presentations about their homelands, studies, and projects. Upon returning home, they share with Rotarians and others the experiences that led to greater understanding of their host countries. Rotary International has more information about Ambassadorial Scholarships here. Details of how to apply will be posted shortly.
